Just in time for Halloween, Charli XCX throws a ghoulish, pink-saturated zombie bash in the singer’s new video for her just-released single “After the Afterparty.”
Directed by Diane Martel – who helmed a visually similar house party-gone-awry with “We Can’t Stop” for Miley Cyrus – “After the Afterparty” features XCX and a bunch of body parts-munching friends dancing the night away.
Midway through the video, Atlanta rapper Lil Yachty drops by to deliver his guest verse before the zombie bash turns into an all-out foam party.
In an Instagram post thanking the cast and crew of the “After the Afterparty” video, XCX revealed that Sophie and PC Music’s A.G. Cook both played a role in crafting the track, continuing a collaboration that began with the Vroom Vroom EP.
“After the Afterparty” is the first single from the singer’s upcoming third album and follow-up to 2014’s Sucker.
