Inspired by prog-rock and fusion bands from the 1970s, Faux Reality releases a new music video from their visual album Daybreak’s Lullaby. “Old Man Winter” is a psychedelic riddle that is bizarre and quirky yet dark and mysterious. The climactic light show enfolds the audience like a galloping discotheque on LSD, leading the band through a wormhole of spacetime, until they immortalize their futures on a 300 year old japanese stamp: a roundabout in art history. Unusual than most groups, Faux Reality not only produces and records their own music they also produce and film their own music videos. As part of their visual album, “Old Man Winter” is one piece to their puzzle and to their DIY visual album.
