Section 7 – Signs (SoundCloud)

Section 7 is a new age hip-hop group that is aiming at something different. Since there first Single release of Signs, they have been pushing the boundaries of what industry standard rap practices are. Signs placed over 97 thousand plays in a couple of months and kept that 90’s boom bap bounce alive and well. It showed that you didn’t need a powerful 808 to make a point.
With a tape releasing June 21st, we are all very curious as to what Section 7 has to offer. Could this be the revival of boom bap? Or is this something completely different?
