This beautiful love song opens Volume 2 of the breathtaking new album, WONDER. “Before There Were Gods” is a collaboration between interpretive pianist Tobin Mueller and Grammy-winning guitarist Michael Hedges, remastered by Factory Underground Studio. While Hedges provides his inventive guitar playing, Mueller adds vocals, Indian flute, natural sound recordings, additional guitar and percussion. New Age pianist George Winston plays fretless bass.
Themes of timeless innocence and the infinite experience love poetically unfold in this lyrics-based music video. Mueller transforms Hedge’s haunting “Lenona” (with the blessings of the Michael Hedge’s Estate).
